Biomass is one of the key resources in Genesis Alpha One. It has many applications and is a key component for for clone producing.
Obtaining[ | ]
There three ways of obtaining biomass: collect it from the dead bodies of the aliens, teleport it from wrecks and alien ships or harvest it from the captured aliens in Alien Research. Because of the second option costs rare Radiation Blue (resource) it's better to use first one.
Since Ship Assault update you can also teleport to another ship, find Biotank and teleport biomass from it to yours.
Application[ | ]
Biomass is using for Clones production in Clone Lab I, Clone Lab II or Clone Lab III. Each clone costs 10 biomass, regardless of it's DNA.
Biomass is using as healing item for captain. One biomass chunk picked with mining tool restores up to 25 points of health. Captain can also restore it's health at medical station in shuttle. In that case one biomass chunk is consumed from Biotank and restores up to 50 points of health.
Storing[ | ]
Biomass is unique item and can be stored only in Biotank. Each Biotank contains up to 20 points of biomass. If biomass collected above all Biotanks capacity, it heals the captain if it's injured and then dissapears.
